Location
Athenry Music School is housed, with the kind permission of the principal and staff, in Coláiste an Eachréidh, which is situated behind the V.E.C. Administration offices in Athenry Town. The school is equipped with state of the art interactive white boards and has bright, spacious rooms.
DIRECTIONS
From Loughrea:
Dublin to Galway motorway. Athenry Exit 17 off motorway-
There are 4 roundabouts after the exit. The first 3 roundabouts take the exit signed to Athenry, at the 4th roundabout take exit signed ‘town centre’. This road is straight for approx 400 yards and then verves to the left- follow the verve!
*You should see a children’s playground and public park on your RHS.Take the right turn immediately after the park.This roads leads towards the castle. T-junction ( at a medieval arch) – turn right. Take the next left (only 20 yards from T junction) signed to Tuam. This road immediately goes over a traffic light controlled hump back bridge. Proceed over the railway bridge and take 1st left. The Coláiste is the 1st building on your right.
From Monivea:
Proceed to Athenry town. Take the right turn onto the Tuam Road which is immediately after the Vocational Secondary School. Proceed over the railway bridge and take 1st left. The Coláiste is the 1st building on your right.
From Craughwell:
Take the road to Athenry on the Galway side of Craughwell just on the Galway side of the railway tracks. Proceed until you reach a crossroads with a cemetery on the RHS. Go straight on. Then see Loughrea directions. *
From Galway:

Proceed to Athenry.At the bottom of the hill, just before going over the railway bridge, there is a crossroads. Turn right. The Colaiste is the 1st building on your right.
